When Petty Officer 2nd Class Marissa Gaeta kissed Petty Officer 3rd Class Citlalic Snell today in Virginia Beach, a little bit of history was made.
As The Virginian-Pilot explains:
“It’s a time-honored tradition at Navy homecomings — one lucky sailor is chosen to be first off the ship for the long-awaited kiss with a loved one. Today, for the first time [according to the Navy], the happily reunited couple was gay.”

this is the ad that had been banned from bus shelters, after overwhelming support from the public, it was reinstated yesterday.
to ME the image isn’t sexualised. to me its just two guys hugging. i dont even automatically link it with the condom, or gay sex, or sex, really, i saw LOVE first. and then men.
Christian Groups are offended by this because its gay, because its sex, because its in bus shelters, cos its inappropriate in bus shelters where kids catch buses.
I say, promote safe sex, promote gay sex, PROMOTE LOVE.

So this is Crystal sniffing around her new home. She’s pretty apprehensive, but she’s very snugly and sweet. The amount of scarring she has breaks my heart. But she is obviously very brave and strong and she has had a lot of love from the people that cared for her. When I picked her up, there were a dozen caregivers there that spent 5 months with her who obviously fell in love with her. There were no dry eyes and I could tell it was hard for them to say goodbye. I feel very lucky.
i am overjoyed. for serious, she’s beautiful and you are too. i hope your new xmas baby will make you ultra happy. it made me and i only saw a pic of her :)
